IMPORTANT DRESS CODE INFORMATION

Please Note the following Dress Code descriptions for meetings - Girls, it is required that you follow this dress code at all events. Any girl not in proper dress code at an event will not be allowed to participate.


Business Meetings and other Fraternal and Civic events:

For members and advisors:

Females: Dress, dress pants**, or skirt and blouse may be worn of any colour. Your choice must look and be considered tasteful and appropriate. Avoid any black and very dark colours as much as possible.
Length of dress or skirt should be no higher than two-inches above the knee. Dress shoes must be worn.

** PLEASE NOTE:  Dress pants are slacks that are neat and pressed.  They should be of the type one would expect a professional woman to wear when meeting the public.  Khaki pants are permitted.  If the slacks are black, dark blue, etc. the top should be white or pastel.

Dress pants do not include jeans, cargo pants, wind pants, stirrup pants, stretch pants, sweat pants, flannel pants, hospital pants, modrobes or overalls.

Males: Dress pants with dress shirt or polo shirt.

Attire that is not appropriate: Jeans, tight pants, skorts, mini skirts, capris, t-shirts, tube tops or halter-tops.

Meetings with an Initiation

For members:

Formal dress, floor or tea-length. Your choice must be considered tasteful and appropriate (not revealing in any way).

Dress may be of any colour except black and very dark colours, with a strap and a limited open back.

Back of dress should not fall below the natural bra line. Slit in dress may not exceed the knee. Dress shoes must be worn.

For candidates:

A church-like dress is appropriate. Dress can be of any colour except black and very dark colours, and must measure below the knee. Dress shoes must be worn.



For advisors and guests:

Females: Dress or skirt and blouse. Mother Advisors must wear a formal dress.

Males: Dress pants with dress shirt and tie. Jacket is optional.
Dress shoes must be worn.

Attire that is not appropriate: Revealing formals.
